Dr. Chacho is a fellowship trained microsurgeon who has been performing successful reversal of tubal ligation for over twenty years. He completed his fellowship in 1984 before the era of IVF. At that time, tubal reversal (reanastamosis) was the only way that a patient who had had a tubal ligation could conceive. The best pregnancy rates were achieved with microsurgery. Reversals are performed on an outpatient basis and can be done with the traditional approach which utilizes a three inch "bikini-cut" in the lower Abdomen. A new laparscopic approach is also available for those patients who may choose this option.
